I am middle aged, ex army, ex teacher, ex programmer, ex analyst and am now an Information Security Consultant.

I have far too many interests which include; computer programming, old computer collecting, stamp collecting, coin collecting, book collecting, wargaming, painting toy soldiers, and building meccano models and model railways.

I am also interested in Egyptology (mostly art and religion), Greek and Roman Lyric Poetry (Sappho, Alcman et al) and Ancient History (mostly late bronze age to classical and anything Greek)
